THE MANHATTONS - SWAMP KAURI WALL LIGHTS - PAIR

A lovely pair of box wall lights made from the rare and highly figurative New Zealand native swamp kauri timber. Designed to look like large solid blocks of timber, these lights have been carefully cut into strips to reduce the risk of splitting, laminated back together and made into boxes to also reduce weight. To further strengthen them, they have then been given 3 heavy coats of liquid glass resin outside, 1 inside, before fine sanding and receiving a natural hard wax finish.

Both beautiful and unique, these sculptures masquerading as lights would grace any number of settings. Sadly the photographs just don't really do them justice. They glow and move like liquid honey as you walk past them and the angles change in natural light.

You choose between a black or gunmetal dimmable LED.
