Every Lights by Mac piece begins as an idea — so if you have a space that needs something truly special, I'd love to make it for you.
I take on a limited number of custom commissions in genuine New Zealand native timber — rimu, kauri, swamp kauri, kahikatea, matai, miro and pukatea, subject to availability. Whether it's a statement pendant for a cathedral ceiling, a piece sized to a particular kitchen island, or a matched pair for the bedside, each light is designed and hand-shaped here in Tauranga and wired by a certified electrician.
How a commission works
- Tell me about your space — dimensions, ceiling height, the look you're after, and any timber you love.
- I'll talk through what's possible, suggest timbers, and give you a quote and a rough timeframe.
- Once you're happy, I begin making. Because these are one-off handmade pieces, they take time — and that's part of the joy.
