Returns & Warranty

Each Lights by Mac piece is a unique, handmade work of art — designed and hand-shaped in Tauranga and wired by a certified electrician to New Zealand safety standards.

Damaged or faulty items

If your light arrives damaged, or develops a fault, please contact me as soon as possible — within 7 days of delivery for transit damage — with a photo or description. I'll repair, replace or refund as appropriate. Your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act always apply.

Workmanship & electrical warranty

Every light is covered by a 12-month warranty against faults in workmanship and electrical components, under normal indoor use. Reach out and I'll look after you.

Change of mind

Because each piece is handmade — and many are one-of-a-kind or made to order — change-of-mind returns aren't generally available, and custom or commissioned pieces are made specifically for you and can't be returned. Please choose carefully and ask any questions before purchasing; I'm always happy to talk through sizes, timbers and finishes first.
