One maker. One workshop. One of a kind.

Hi, I'm Mac Robertson. I've always been drawn to wood — to the satisfaction of taking a beautiful piece of New Zealand native timber and turning it into a functional work of art. Every light is designed and hand-shaped here in Tauranga, then wired by a certified electrician.

Rare timber. Certified. Irreplaceable.

Every piece of native timber I work with is sustainably milled and purchased through fully licensed suppliers, with a producer statement and certificate on demand. New rimu and kauri can no longer be cut from the wild — what exists is reclaimed, salvaged, and finite. To own one of these lights is to own a piece of New Zealand's natural history.
