This design came about by accident — from a damaged slab with an unstable section at one end, which I turned into a hanging pendant with a matching fixing plate. I loved the result so much it sparked a whole range of sculptural lights, carved into unique shapes and fixed flat to a wall or ceiling.

This particular sculpture is the exact width of a king-size bed at 1920mm, with two 520mm dimmable LED strips at each end that can be wired and adjusted individually or as one.

These lights don't just fall off a timber rack and finish themselves. After flattening the slab, each piece is carved and sanded over many hours — entirely by hand with chisels, rasps and hand sanders. No CNC here: when I say handmade, I mean it.

Every light comes complete and ready to hang — wired by a certified electrician, with all fixings, cables and bulbs included. Full specifications are listed below, and custom sizes or timbers are always welcome.
